LE LeaseRuleCalc

Verification & Editorial Methodology

Last Audited: 2026-11-01

LeaseRuleCalc builds deterministic, transparent calculation tools backed directly by primary public records rather than unverified blog summaries.

1. Primary Source Verification Standard

Every jurisdiction and calculation parameter in our database must reference its governing primary authority: official US State Legislature statutory codes (including Cal. Civ. Code § 1950.5, Tex. Prop. Code Ch. 92, Fla. Stat. § 83.49, N.Y. Real Prop. Law § 238-a, A.R.S. § 33-1321, and 765 ILCS 710). Each calculator page displays a visible verification badge linking directly to the official statute or government publication alongside the date our team last audited the parameters.

2. Deterministic Calculation & Unit Testing

Unlike generative chat answers that guess dates or percentages, our calculators execute deterministic TypeScript formulas tested with automated unit test suites covering leap years, weekend rollovers, observed US federal holidays, and conditional statutory tiers.

3. How We Use Technology & Human Review

We use structured schema validation (Zod) and software tooling to organize statutory parameters and draft clear explanations, followed by manual verification of every statutory citation, URL, formula branch, and worked numerical example prior to publication.

4. Corrections & Legislative Update Policy

When a state legislature amends a deadline, cap, or documentation requirement, we update both the underlying data record and the page's Last Checked timestamp. If you spot a newly enacted state or municipal change, email hello@leaserulecalc.com with the statute link and we will audit and update the calculator promptly.
